Gaunt Royal Arcade Melbourne", the inside base of the case marked in Indian ink "1.7.83" presumably indicating an acquisition date of 1883, the rules and gauges plus some instrument handles in bone, one of the smaller instruments is a replacement of similar vintage, missing the face plate and key otherwise a very fine set, the felt linings all in remarkably good condition |
