2009 1966 Decimal Pattern 20c ANDA Show Silver Proof
An official, exclusive Australian ‘Show issue’, honoring one of Australia’s most iconic coin designs, we are delighted to present the 2009 1966 Decimal Pattern 20c ANDA Show Silver Proof! A smashing success when unveiled at the first ever ANDA Show on the Gold Coast, our attendance at this key event enabled us to secure just enough stock to bring this unique coin to our clients. And what a coin it is!
Crafted to the height of Perth Mint Proof quality, this .999 fine silver coin enshrines the Swan design so well known to Australian collectors as the 1967 ‘Goose Dollar’. Created by Andor Meszaros, this unique 20c motif was seriously considered by Treasury for Australia’s first coinage issue in 1966 before overlooked in favour of the work of Stuart Devlin. A wonderful opportunity to secure this striking coin type individually, the Perth Mint’s decision to issue the ‘Swan’ 20c Silver Proof ONLY at the ANDA Gold Coast Show is an inspired one.
Although, knowing the tremendous popularity of official Australian ‘Show products’, we secured as many coins as possible from the edition of 2,500, our stocks are very limited. Presented on an official Perth Mint card, and available at a very affordable price, don’t miss what is likely to be your only opportunity to secure this historic, exclusive Australian legal tender type. In the interests of fairness, a limit of two coins per household must be applied.
