A unique type, pursued for its huge historic importance, the first Australian florin is a fundamental element of every Australian predecimal collection. The one-and-only Australian florin distinguished by the noble features of Edward VII, the 1910 Florin is tough-to-find in any grade – and very rare indeed in the pristine quality seen here.

Struck at the Royal Mint in London well over a century ago, the single 1910 Florin we have in stock has been graded by PCGS at MS64 – the equivalent of Choice Uncirculated. Of the 1.26m florins struck in 1910, an infinitesimal number remain in such an impressive state of preservation. Defined by strong detail in the design, and a lovely light natural toning, this particularly pretty example will delight the collector with an eye for quality – but you’ll have to be quick!
