Notable as the last standard 50c dates to carry the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the 1983 & 1984 50c coins before you are defined by truly magnificent quality.

Originally issued as part of the Royal Australian Mint’s 1983 and 1984 Mint Sets respectively, these immaculate coins are struck to Specimen standard – a much higher standard than that used by the Mint to strike the coins intended for circulation. As a result, the classic Australian 50c Coat of Arms motif found on each reverse is sharply detailed, with each coin distinguished by the lovely full mint bloom so associated with Specimen strikes. Put simply, these coins are never found in change in such magnificent condition.

A marvellous opportunity for those with an eye for quality, the 1983 & 1984 50c Specimen Coin Pair is surprisingly affordable. Click add to cart now!
