The Great Plane Robbery!

In 1982, an attempt to steal $600,000 from the Reserve Bank of Australia as it was being shipped by air in Queensland was foiled by astute, brave employees of Trans Australia Airlines (TAA). As reward for their efforts, the RBA created a tiny number of presentation folders comprising individually numbered Johnston/Stone Specimen notes – including the note presented here!
