Rex doesn’t exactly live up to his menacing stature, in fact he’s actually very timid and is self conscious of his small roar. Throughout the Toy Story franchise you can see his confidence grow as he realises that the others love him for how he is, no matter how quiet he is or how small his arms are - he’s a dinosaur that could never be replaced.
