HSV VS Senator 215i - 1995 - Cherry Black - 1:18 Model Car

Biante Model Cars are very excited to present the 1:18 Scale HSV VS Senator 215i in the iconic Cherry Black.

The VS Senator is one of those iconic early model HSV’s. It had an incredibly appealing Ian Callum styled bodykit together with the famous throaty Aussie V8. This combination was the reason the VS range of HSV’s is regarded as one of the most sought after modern muscle cars today.

The VS Senator continued on from the standard set by the VR Senator with its universally popular body kit featuring a deep front apron, styled rear bumper, and solid side-skirts. Together with the tough as nails drivetrain featuring either the 185 kilowatt 5 litre V8, or the optional 215 kilowatt 5.7 litre stroker, it was a winning combination. The VS update however, added new ten-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels, a different front grille, and a passenger side airbag amongst other features.

The VS range also brought with it a new selection of eye-catching metallic paint options like Silver Mink, Panther Mica, and for this particular model, the stunning Cherry Black. This distinct finish at first appears to be a metallic black but on closer inspection, is infused with a burgundy pearl which really makes any VS HSV stand out in the sun, and the model is no different!

The paint isn’t the only special feature about this Senator though. We’ve also added the optional leather interior and 6-speed manual transmission mated to the fire breathing 215i 5.7 litre stroker engine. For anyone who has driven an early HSV with this engine will testify, they did not hang around when the right pedal was planted!
