Don't miss out!
  • The ultimate centrepiece to your predecimal coin collection
  • Mintage just 101,600 - scarce today!
  • Superb reverse motif by renowned artisan George Kruger Gray
  • Comprises nearly 1oz of sterling silver - measures 38.50mm
  • Secure yours today in breathtaking Uncirculated condition!

Here's your chance to secure a beautiful, sought-after predecimal coin in breathtaking condition! Issued for a short period in 1938, the 1938 Crown was struck from nearly an ounce of sterling silver. Scarce today, this coin was consigned to the pages of history when the denomination was deemed too bulky for circulation.

The crown was brought in in 1937 to coincide with the Coronation of George VI. It spanned a generous 38.50mm and featured a regal reverse motif: the perfect tribute to a new King. However, its large size made it difficult to use as a circulating coin. Minting continued into 1938, but was halted just some months into the year. As a result, the mintage of the 1938 Crown is just 101,600.

A magnificent example, we are delighted to offer this critical coin in the upper echelons of quality! The 1938 Crown could be the jewel of your collection - secure it now!
