As Australia only began issuing £5 Star Replacement Notes in September of 1962, the 1960 £5 R50S Coombs/Wilson Reserve Bank Star Note is the ONLY Star Note of this denomination!
Utterly unique, this one-of-a-kind Star note is also extremely rare. Not only was it issued in very low numbers, but, as a high denomination, Coombs/Wilson £5 notes were too valuable to blithely set aside as a keepsake, Star Note or not! Seldom offered by Downies, we have one note available, graded VF25.
