Struck during the early years of the record-breaking reign of Queen Elizabeth II, from 1953 to 1964, all six predecimal issues are included in this set – dates of our choice.
The perfect partners, the set also includes the six original decimal denominations – 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c and famous 1966 Silver Round 50c – Australia’s only issued decimal coin struck from precious metal. Bearing the first decimal coinage portrait of Elizabeth II, created by Arnold Machin, the coins in this set were issued from 1966 to 1984 – dates of our choice.
