An official issue of the Royal Australian Mint, the set comprises four Australian legal tender $1 coins. A not-issued-for-circulation type, each coin bears a stylised scene featuring an Australian astronaut exploring space and with an insert paying homage to WRESAT-1, Australia's first satellite. The 25mm flan of each coin also carries a mintmark or privymark – the C Mintmark (Canberra), and B (Brisbane), S (Sydney) & M (Melbourne) Privymarks respectively.
