Official and affordable, this Australian legal tender 4-coin $1 set celebrates the 60^th anniversary of the Royal Australian Mint!

A key player in global numismatics…

Established specifically to create Australia’s first decimal coinage, the Royal Australian Mint was officially opened by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on the 22^nd of February 1965. For six decades since, the RAM has built a reputation for excellence in coin production, and played a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s culture and heritage. Striking virtually all of Australia’s circulating coinage, as well as that of many other nations, the RAM has also created some of the nation’s most sought after collectables. At the forefront of innovation, precision and artistry, the RAM is a key player in the global numismatic industry.

Strictly Uncirculated quality!

An appropriate tribute to the 60^th anniversary of the Royal Australian Mint, this set comprises four Uncirculated Australian legal tender coins. Bearing the C mintmark and B, S & M privymarks respectively, the four coins each carry a stylised design of a coin press, surrounded by different aspects of the Royal Australian Mint story. Struck to the RAM’s rigorous Uncirculated standard, the four coins are set within an acrylic pack, housed in an illustrated outer sleeve.
