Depicting one of Australia’s most beloved animals, the Australian koala coins pay tribute to our rich wildlife. That the koala “holds the affection of Australians more than any other of their wild animals” was suggested in The Wild Animals of Australasia, a 1926 tome that attributed their unrivalled charm to an “innocent, babyish expression and quiet and inoffensive ways”.
Celebrating the koala’s appeal, Australian Koala 2024 1oz Gold Proof High Relief Coin is superbly crafted from 1oz of 99.99% pure gold in exquisite proof quality.
