A stunning element of one of Australia’s most popular collector programs, the Deadly & Dangerous Series, this sparkling precious metal Proof forms a spectacular tribute to the lethal Tiger Shark!
Second only to the Great White in terms of fatal attacks on humans, the Tiger Shark features distinctive vertical stripes on the sides of its body, and a blunt head with a powerful jaw. The Tiger Shark’s mouth is packed full of serrated teeth with dramatic tips that point sideways – perfect for shearing through flesh and bone. Reaching lengths of five metres and more, the Tiger Shark is the second largest predatory shark in the world. An inspired work of modern minting by the Perth Mint, the reverse features a fully struck-up, full-colour depiction of this ferocious beast – framed by a border depicting its razor-sharp teeth!
