An officially licensed product, crafted from a 1oz sheet of 99.9% silver, this genuine legal tender coin forms a truly stunning tribute to the 40th anniversary of iconic 1980s animated film, The Transformers: The Movie!
After the success of the Transformers TV series โ telling the tale of giant robots who could transform into vehicles and other objects โ the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons hit the silver screen in 1986. Notable for a remarkable ensemble cast, including Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy, and Orson Welles in his last role, the film became a cult classic โ and the original movie poster became an icon for all Transformers fans.
Struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver, and spanning a whopping 175mm x 262mm, this official legal tender coin features a sensational recreation of that original theatrical poster. A masterwork of innovation, each coin features transparent full-colour printing โ allowing the silver beneath to shine โ which contrasts beautifully with mirror-Proof elements.
An exclusive limited edition, the mintage of the Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary 2026 $2 Film Poster 1oz Silver Proof is just 1,000. However, as you would expect with any tribute to the Transformers โ thereโs more than meets the eye! Of that 1,000-coin mintage, 900 bear the full-colour design, with the remaining 100 being an alternative version! The Chase variant features a sleek engraved background, united with the classic retro orange title treatment! You have a 10% chance of securing the Chase coin, and you wonโt know until you open the box!
