The HSV Gen-F2 GTSR W1 is widely regarded as the most powerful production car ever built in Australia. Released in 2017 as HSV’s final expression of V8 muscle before the brand’s closure, the W1 was fitted with a hand-assembled 6.2L supercharged LS9 V8 engine, producing a staggering 474kW of power and 815Nm of torque.
Only 275 examples were produced for the Australian market, making it an ultra-exclusive collector’s dream. The W1 combined brute performance with track-ready enhancements – including carbon fibre accents, AP Racing brakes, custom interior treatments, and a menacing design that still turns heads.
