Encompassing more than 300 years of history, the 99.9% pure silver flan carries the portraits of THIRTEEN British monarchs – with each portrait finished in genuine 24-carat gold!
Highlighted by the crowned portrait of King Charles III, set above a depiction of the Imperial State Crown, the coin also features the portraits of his twelve predecessors, from Queen Anne (1702-14) to Queen Elizabeth II (1952-2022). This includes all six monarchs from the House of Hanover – George I, II, III & IV, William IV and Queen Victoria – as well as Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII & George VI. Notably, the depictions of all Charles’ predecessors are based on original coinage portraits.
Carrying the portrait of Charles III by the Royal Mint’s Jody Clark, this official legal tender issue also features a special commemorative obverse. The crown-sized flan is distinguished by an array of British heraldic emblems, along with the names of all Charles’ predecessors! A fine presentation, each coin is housed in a case with a see-through lid, complete with a Certificate of Authenticity.
