Headlined by the latest addition to the full-colour $2 commemorative series – the hottest series in Australian numismatics – we are delighted to present the Our Animals, Our Country 2026 $2 Stamp & Coin Cover!
An official Australia Post issue, this Stamp & Coin Cover honours the Gudanji/Wakaja languages from the Gulf Country and Barkly Tablelands in the NT, and celebrates the significance of animals in Indigenous culture. Bearing designs by Gudanji/Wakaja and Kalkadoon artist, nardurna, the Cover, the Australian $1.85c stamp and the full-colour $2 coin all feature Australia’s iconic goanna. Struck to Uncirculated standard, and superbly enhanced with full-colour, the coin portrays the goanna with its Gudanji/Wakaja language name – Jurrgubadi.
A stand-alone product of great beauty, rich symbolism and immense importance, there is no doubt that demand for the Our Animals, Our Country 2026 $2 Stamp & Coin Cover will be largely driven by the presence of the full-colour $2. Likely to have a low mintage, the 2026 Jurrgubadi $2 will be tough to find in change – as with all full-colour $2 issues. Even if you are lucky, and find an example of this unique, one-year-only type, it won’t be in strictly Uncirculated condition – as presented here.
The limited edition of the Our Animals, Our Country 2026 $2 Stamp & Coin Cover is just 8,000. Our allocation from that limited edition is tiny, and we are sure to sell out at speed. It cannot be emphasised strongly enough – immediate action is essential.
